My thesis has taken most of my energy to do anything else (even shaving), and as I said on a previous post, I've been wanting to write for some time now. I posted brief entries these past few weeks because it has not taken me too much time to do it, but what I'm about to tell has taken me some time, not only to write it, but also to think about how to do it.
I decided to write in English this time, inspired by Coldplay. Two weeks ago they came to Monterrey for the first time. It was the last concert of "Viva la Vida" tour. Some of their songs actually describe how I'm feeling. Even though these feelings are not good, their songs are so cool that you don't get the real message.
I was just guessing
at numbers and figures
putting puzzles apart
Questions of science
science and progress...
Driven to distraction
so part of the plan...
Confusion that never stops
closing walls and taking clocks...
A warning sign...
Oh no! What's this?
A spider web and I'm caught in the middle
So I twist and turn...
Everything I know, is wrong
Everything I do, it just comes undone
And everything is torn, apart
Oh and it's the hardest part
Yeah that's the hardest part...
When I try MY best, but I don't succeed...
Stuck in reverse...
Thesis, I will try to fix you...
Nobody said it was easy,
no one ever said it would be this hard...
Everything's not lost...
If you wonder why certain parts of Coldplay's songs are written in a specific color, Daniel Vota has the answer to that, he has asked me the most unusual question, so he'll explain it if you ask him.
So waht did I do on easter vacations, a time in which I was not allowed to work due to insecurity in the city? I went out for a walk:
Modified a cookie recipe several times to make it even better:
Slept at least eight hours a day.
Thanked a gift from a special friend:
I will graduate on time, no matter how long it takes.
