It's Time for a Reset

Pleasing everyone is impossible. Niches might be temporary. It's hard to adapt to changing environments sometimes, when rather than letting evolution through natural selection take its course, some people want to selectively choose their desired outcomes. 

Doing this with fruits, veggies, and animals is not a problem, as I teach in my science class. The problem is when this is done by people. And no, I'm not talking about getting rid of people based on their origin like Hitler did (at least that's not my case), it's when you are intentionally pushed somewhere else, unless you're willing to risk your mental and physical health.

When you lack support consistently it's time to move on. Unfortunately, there's no guarantee. I thought I was making myself at home, I thought I would retire teaching at the exact same school where I'm at, but that might not be the case. I might go back in a few years if conditions improve. Easter brings a sense of hope. 

I will try my best to find a place where my talents are valued, and where we can all mutually have our backs. Prayers to those of you who are going through difficult times. Happy Easter!
