American Airlines made the terrible decision to move their only daily flight from Monterrey to DFW airport to 5:10 PM (instead of 12:50). Even if the flight got there on time (6:46PM) it would've been impossible to go through customs and make it to the last daily flight to Midland at 7:20 PM. How many people made it to their connection? Not many, I guess. I had to spend a night there. I decided to visit the Kimbell Art Museum, the Ammon Carter Art Museum, and the Fort Worth Museum of Modern Art. Except for Chihuly blown glass art, European art is always the best.
People who were visiting were a lot more compliant while wearing masks. Perhaps those who appreciate art have a higher empathy for their neighbors overall? Only God knows what'll happen next, but I pray that we get to end this pandemic soon.
