This is what you do when the government gives you money that you don't need

When the government gives you money that you don't need (thank God for that), when Europe is closed and you want to go there, and when flights are reasonably priced, this is what you do, you go to Florida, where you can find some imported European art, along with some other things. The trip started in Sarasota, where I visited the Ringling Museums right after I got there:

The next day I went to St. Petersburg and Tampa, where I visited this Greek Orthodox Church (in St. Petersburg):

A Museum of Fine Arts (in St. Petersburg):

A Chihully Glass Museum (in St. Petersburg):

The Henry B. Plant Museum, as part of the University of Tampa (in Tampa):

An Art Museum (in Tampa):

Sacred Heart Catholic Church (in Tampa):

And the next day, the James Museum of Western Art (in St. Petersburg). This was right before taking an Uber back to the airport:

While we all love free money, I pray and hope that future rounds of stimulus are geared towards the people and businesses that really need the money. I also pray and hope that governments across the world find a way to manage their debt without raising taxes and/or making cuts. And most importantly, I pray and hope for this pandemic to end so that people can get back to work and students back to school.

To those who know me, you know I wear a mask in all indoor public spaces. I feel a lot safer in an art museum than in a grocery store in west Texas.
